I was returning home after enjoying a lovely dinner in a restaurant. It was a day well spent. We reached home and I wished good night to my parents before going to sleep. Next morning when I woke up I heard the television blarring loud. The news flashed that the entire water had disappeared from Earth. Scientists were frantically searching for a solution to this problem. The entire floral and fauna were wipped out. Few scientists had come up with a capsule as an energy provider which would substitute water. It was tested on ten humans and proved successful. My parents were discussing if they should buy this capsule. When I went out on the road with my parents, I saw people running helter and skelter. I was filled with grief. There were no butterfly, no dewdrops, no rainbow in the sky, no frogs, snails or muddy puddles to jump. The whole world had turned into a stone. Tears rolled out of my eyes and as they fell on the ground, a blade of grass grew out from there. As I bent to pick the grass, I tumbled and fell down. When I tried to get up I realised that I had fallen down from my bed. An unknown fear gripped me. I ran to my mother and hugged her. It was a terrible dream but I realised the importance of water. A day without water is scarry and unimaginable. I hope we all have such a dream only to wake up to understand the importance of saving water. Let's do it before it is too late.
